He hates life and everything in it. Well, for the most part anyway. He finds it hard to trust anyone for the most part, but every once in awhile he'll give in. Torn has a very cocky attitude, but he's not all bark. He has plenty of bite to back up his threats. To top it all off, he fights until he can't fight anymore. He isn't afraid of death, but he does hate life.
